Hyderabad, January 11: The Home Minister, Ms P. Sabita Indra Reddy, here on Tuesday called upon the police personnel to remain more vigilant and discharge their functions to the best of their possibility in the wake of the law and order situation in the State getting more complicated with each passing day.
The Home Minister, who was the chief guest at the passing-out parade at the State Police Academy, said that apart from 15 battalions stationed in the State, the government was requisitioning two more battalions to ensure maintenance of law and order in the wake of the agitation for separate Telangana State.
The Home Minister also congratulated the 284 police personnel — AR, APSP, SPF and ANI — who have successfully completed rigorous training.
