Two more batches of pilgrims leave for Haj-2012

Two more batches of Haj pilgrims consisting of 550 Hajis left the city on Tuesday for the sacred journey of Haj.

The flight of first batch consisting of 250 pilgrims took off from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad at 9.30 am. The second batch of 300 pilgrims left the Haj House in the night and the flight is scheduled to take off at 1.20 am. With the departure of 19 batches a total of 5,715 pilgrims have left the city for Haj pilgrimage.

State Haj Committee Chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed and Executive Officer Abdul Hameed flagged off the buses of Haj pilgrims at Haj House on Tuesday. Members of the Haj Committee were also present on the occasion. (INN)
