Two more arrested in an attack case on minority family on Holi

GURUGRAM: Haryana police arrested two more youths in a communal incident which took place on the day of Holi in Gurgaon and shook the entire nation. The police is facing criticism over the action taken in this incident.

According to the police, Dhirender alias Dhire and Amit were arrested around 2 am who were a part of the attack on the four minority community youths by 35 to 40 goons on the day of Holi in Bhup Singh Nagar.

The incident captured on phone went viral on social media drawing flak for the police. The family members alleged that despite continuously calling the police, they took about 40 minutes to come to their rescue and by the time police reached the spot, the attackers escaped.

The incident was triggered by a game of cricket on Holi, the minority family was beaten up allegedly by 35 to 40 men with hockey sticks and iron rods at their home.

The Delhi Chief Minister took to Twitter and condemned the attack, “Hitler too used do this for power. Hitler’s goons used to beat people up, used to murder people. And the police would register a case against people who were beaten up,” he tweeted.
