Hyderabad: Ahmed of Cherial Mandal had committed suicide two months ago in Saudi Arabia allegedly distraught by the adverse conditions there. His wife and family members are waiting to have his last glimpse for two months. They are in mourning since then.
According to details, Ahmed of Cherial mandal went to Saudi Arabia 8 years ago, in search of employment. However distraught due to the adverse conditions there, he committed suicide two months ago. Unable to get employment and having nothing to eat, he hanged himself to death on May 24. Family members cannot afford to shift the dead body on their own expense hence they requested state minister KTR and Harish Rao.
The ministers after talking to Saudi Agency assured to give employment to the widow, financial assistance through CM Relief Fund and free education to children.
BJP Kisaan Morcha state president T Kamala Reddy, who visited the family to condole the death, had sent required documents to Saudi Arabia, for shifting of the body. However the body hasn’t been shifted so far. Ahmed’s employer claimed that since Ahmed hasn’t died on duty, he is not liable to pay the expenses for shifting of body.
Ahmed’s wife Habeeba and his family members have once again requested Chief Minister KCR to arrange shifting of the deceased’s dead body.
