The Jeedimetla police on Sunday retrieved the body of a 45-year-old man, who went missing from his home since December 12.
The deceased, S Mallesh, a mason, was missing from his home in Gajularamaram since December 12. His body was found in a lake and was later shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy. Police suspect that he might have downed in the lake accidentally.
In another case, Chandrayangutta police fished out the body of A Krishna, 45, from a lake near his residence in Indira Nagar. He left his home on December 13 stating that he would sleep in a local Pochamma Temple. However, he did not return home and on Thursday morning his body was found in the lake. He is also suspected to have drowned accidentally. (INN)
