Two men arrested for Chicago-NY drug operation

New York, February 13: Two men were convicted of two counts of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine in Rochester, New York, prosecutors announced.

Algernon Toole, 40, of Evansville, Indiana, and Everette Toole, 35, of Dolton, Illinois were members of a drug trafficking organization that operates from Chicago, Illinois, to Rochester, New York. Between 2003 and 2006, more than 50 kilograms of cocaine were trafficked by this organization.

For these two counts, the defendants face a minimum mandatory term of 10 years in prison and a maximum penalty of life imprisonment. Their sentencing is scheduled for May 2010.
