A two-member delegation of Indian Journalists’ Union (IJU) will be attending the three-day ‘Digital Campaign Skills’ training program to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from July 26 to 28. The program is being organised by the South Asia Media Solidarity Network (SAMSN) of International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).
Ajeyi Babu Kuna (Hyderabad), a member of Telangana State Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ), working as News Editor in “Mana Telangana” Telugu daily and Ms Soniya Sorensangbam, senior reporter, “Poknapham” daily, a member of All Manipur Working Journalists Union from Imphal have been chosen for the program.
The training program is being supported under the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) South Asia Media Freedom for Democracy Project, supported by the UNDEF. The training will be conducted by the IFJ South Asia Coordinator Ujwal Acharya. The two-day training is aimed at providing direction and strategy in the design of digital campaign for national and sub-regional campaigns across the SAMSAN network. The training will be preceded by the SAMSN gender networking meeting. (NSS)
