Making it clear that the TRS party will not ask votes in case it failed to construct two lakh double bed room houses at the end of year 2017, the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that the state government would construct one lakh double bed room houses each in urban areas and rural areas.
Replying on budget at Legislative Assembly here on Friday, KCR said that the construction of double bed room houses got delayed due to lack of contractors. He said that the TRS party will not ask votes in case it failed to construct the one lakh houses in urban areas and one lakh houses in rural areas by this year end.
Alleging that the opposition parties were speaking on the development of the state with lack of awareness, the Chief Minister said that the caste based professionals were indulged in celebrations while seeing the budget. Yadavs and Kurumas were seeing themselves in the budget. The opposition parties leaders were not in a position to digest the strengthening of rural economic growth. The state government was purchased additional power keeping people, industries, farmers’ in view. He asked the opposition parties to extend their cooperation with the state government’s development activities.
Reiterating that the TRS government will not go to early polls, KCR said that there was ample time for elections. He said that he didn’t understand as to why the opposition parties were in hurry about elections. The people were intelligent and they will not cast their vote in case the rule was not upto their expectations. “Taking debts is necessary to develop the state. Taking debts and clearing debts are a continuous process”, he said. (NSS)
