A 25-year-old man was killed and another was injured when the bike they were riding on lost control and hit a road divider.
The accident occurred on Kompally flyover bridge on Sunday night. The victim, A Nagaraju, and the pillion rider Srikanth, 25, sustained severe injuries. Both were immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where Nagaraju was declared brought dead. He was a resident of Ambernagar while his friend, Srikanth, resides in Bowenpally of Secunderabad, according to Pet Basheerabad police.
In another case, 30-year-old Najma Begum of Gandipet, died of injuries which he had sustained on April 2 when the motorcycle she was travelling on was hit by another bike coming from opposite direction near Shankarpally crossroads. She was admitted to Gandhi Hospital where she died on Sunday night. (INN)
