A 50-year-old labourer was killed when the DCM van he was travelling was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle.
The accident occurred in Pahadishareef police limits on Friday night. The victim, B. Sattaiah, a native of Nalgonda, who was seated next to driver in DCM van, sustained grievious injuries and was declared brought dead when rushed to a nearby hospital. The van driver also suffered minor injuries.
In another case, C. Suresh, 32, of Monda Market, was killed after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle while he was crossing the Karkhana Road on Friday night. He suffered serious injuries and was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where he died a few hours after admission. (INN)
