The death toll in the Pargi road accident reached eight when a 30-year-old woman, who was injured in the accident, succumbed to injuries at the Osmania General Hospital.
The victim, K. Shardamma, was one of the several persons who got injured when the DCM they were travelling in turned turtle on Pargi Road on March 30. While seven persons were killed on the same day, Shardamma was admitted to OGH with multiple injuries. She died of injuries on Saturday night, according to Pargi Sub-Inspector K. Hanumanthu.
In a different case, A. Raju, 35, died of injuries which he sustained after he was hit by a motorcycle near his residence in Kandukur on April 1. He was admitted to OGH where he succumbed on Saturday night. (INN)
