Two killed in Pakistanblast

At least two people were killed and dozens of others wounded after a blast hit southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta Wednesday night, a media report said.

Citing Urdu TV channel Dunya, Xinhua reported that the explosion left two people dead and 15 others injured while another TV channel Geo said 36 people were wounded in the blast.

Ajj TV quoted unidentified police sources as saying that at least 25 people were injured in the explosion.

According to Geo reports, the blast took place at about 7.40 p.m. when a bomb planted on a motorbike was detonated outside a shop on the Prince Road of the city.

Police have not confirmed the nature of the blast yet.
