In separate cases, two persons were killed when they were hit and run by unidentified vehicles at different places in the city and its outskirts.
In Raidurgam police limits, a 26-year-old man suffered grievous injuries when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Quality Inn crossroads on Monday night. He was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was later identified as Md Zaker, a resident of MS Makhta in Khairtabad. He was a security guard in IBM and met with the accident while returning home from duty.
In another case, A Hanumanthu, 60, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained on December 27 after the bike he was riding was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle near Palmakol in Shamshabad Rural police. He was admitted to the OGH for treatment where he died on Monday night. Hanumanthu was a native of Mahabubnagar. (INN)
