Two persons were killed andv eight others seriously injured when a SUV was hit by train at an unmanned railway crossing near Hatta station here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the Sumo carrying ten persons collided with a Balaghat-bound train while
crossing the tracks, they said.
While two persons died on the spot, the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital with help of locals and railway
officials.
The deceased have not been identified yet.
