Two persons, including an elderly woman, died after a car rammed into a stationary lorry in SR Nagar police limits.
The accident occurred when 79-year-old Chandraiah was returning home from Kukatpally to Chikkadpally along with his wife Sugunamma, 65, on Monday night. When he reached SR Nagar, he lost control of his car and hit a stationary lorry. The impact was so intense that the car turtle and resulted in the instantaneous death of Sugunamma. The lorry cleaner, Narasimha, was also injured in the accident and was declared brought dead when taken to Gandhi Hospital. Chandraiah survived with multiple injuries, according to police. (INN)
