Two women devotees were killed in a stampede at Salkanpur temple in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday morning.
The stampede at the temple in the state’s Sehor district has left around 30 people injured, according to reports.
The incident took place when devotees returning from the temple, situated atop a mountain about 70km from Bhopal, slipped and fell, resulting in the death of two persons.
Eyewitnesses said the stampede broke out when a woman and a girl fell down.
