Ferozepur, August 20: The BSF today recovered two kg of heroin from Dona Telu Mal area along the border here, making it a major haul after yesterday’s narcotic seizure at Gurdaspur sector.
The recovery followed inputs from four arrested Pakistani intruders, who confessed to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that a consignment of heroin was concealed near DT Mal area near border fencing and that it could be retrieved by their Indian associates anytime.
Pakistani intruders were arrested near BOP Tapu along with huge quantity of drugs and arms on Sunday.
During a search, the troops noticed some freshly dug up soil between border pillar 195/3 and 195/4 and recovered two packets of the contraband, each weighing one kg each.
