Fujairah, October 17: The Fujairah Court of Appeal sentenced two UAE nationals to six months each in jail for hiding a body of a UAE young national who succumbed to death after drug overdose.
The accused had also destroyed his mobile phone and wallet.
A body of a young man was found inside his car behind the cement factory in the mountainous Ghob area. A forensic report said that the cause of death was due to an overdose of drugs.
Police investigations said the victim was in the company of the accused while taking the drugs. His companions took the unconscious youngster and left him inside his car behind the cement factory. The accused confessed to the crime during investigations.
