Two injured, three houses damaged in Kashmir

Srinagar, February 24: Two people received burn injuries as three houses were damaged in fire incidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here today.

They said a fire broke out in the house of one Mohammad Ashraf Khandy at Naserpora in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, reducing it to ashes.

Two persons, who tried to control the flames, received burn injuries, they said, adding, the injured were hospitalised.

Fire also damaged the houses of Ghulam Rehman Padder and Mohammad Yousuf Paddar at Kharpath in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.

The cause of the fire was not known, they said, adding, no one was injured.
