Two persons were grievously injured when a speeding container dashed against an RTC bus in the hitec city at Wipro Circle at Gachibowli here on Sunday morning. The impact of collision was so severe that the bus turned into a ball of iron.
The RTC bus belonging to Barkhatpura Bus depot was proceeding towards Koti. Only six persons, including driver and conductor, were in the ill-fated bus. The injured were rushed to nearest hospital immediately.
Sunday being holiday for software companies in the hitec city, a major tragedy was averted. Besides, there was no vehicular traffic in the hitec city on Sunday. (NSS)
