Two housing officers and one police sub-inspector have been caught during Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) raids across the State on Friday.
The ACB identified Rs.5 crore worth illegal assets at the residence of Vinukonda Housing DE Shankar in Guntur district. Shankar possessed 35 acre land, 10 house sites, two residences and two cars. The ACB sleuths have taken Shankar into their custody.
ACB sleuths have caught Ananthapuram Housing Recovery officer Subbaiah red handedly when the latter was accepting Rs.10,000 bribe. In Chittoor district ACB officers have detained Peddamandyam SI Suresh Kumar when the latter was accepting Rs.15000 bribe. (NSS)
