Hyderabad, May 14: Two historysheeters were externed from the Hyderabad city limits on Friday.
The externed criminals were asked to leave the city and are not supposed to enter the limits without permission from police bosses.
The externment order came after city police commissioner AK Khan asked zonal officers to send proposals for externment of history-sheeters under Section 26 (1) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli.
“These history-sheeters residing in Hyderabad are causing or likely to cause danger or harm to life or property of any persons or they are engaged or to be engaged in commission of offences,” Khan said.
The history-sheeters are creating panic in localities by terrorising public and the latter are scared even to complain about their unlawful activities, the commissioner added.
Following Khan’s orders, Habeebnagar police sent proposals to extern 20-year-old Mohd Kareem alias Chor Kareem of Mallepally and Mohd Lateef of New Mallepallay.
“Externment notices were served on the duo on April 25 and they were asked to submit their grievances against the proposal within seven days to the concerned assistant commissioner of police. As we did not receive any representation, the final externment orders were served,” Khan said.
The duo should leave the city for six months and they should furnish the place and address of their stay and the nearest police station.
They should not enter the limits of Hyderabad city without written permission of the commissioner of police.
The duo, however, are allowed to enter city limits to attend court when they are summoned.
