New Delhi, December 10: Two youths were apprehended today for allegedly stealing a mobile phone from a passenger in the Delhi Metro.
The duo, Kailash (21) and Manikant (16), were nabbed by CISF personnel after they allegedly stole the mobile phone of one Sanjiv Bansal from Kolkata who was travelling between Karol Bagh and Jhandewalan Metro stations.
The duo has been handed over to the Raja Garden Metro police station and CISF officials said that they could also be involved in past thefts in the Metro.
“When the train reached Jhandewalan station, Bansal was informed by a fellow passenger that a young boy standing next to him has picked something from his pocket,” a Metro official said.
