Exactly one year after the commitment of crime, the Mailardevpally Police arrested two persons on charges of murdering a 55-year-old man, who allegedly developed homosexual relationship with one of the accused.
According to police, Shujath, an event manager and resident of Udamgadda in Mailardevpally befriended Syed Bilal, 24, Nadeem, 24, and Abdul Zubair, 22, about two years ago. However, Bilal who regularly visited Shujath’s place allegedly developed unnatural (homosexual) relationship with him. Later, Bilal lost interest in the relationship with the old man.
Upon Shujath’s insistence of continuing the relationship, the irritated Bilal hatched a plan to eliminate him. All three friends reached his residence on the late night of November 9, 2013. While Bilal and Nadeem went inside the house, Zubair guarded outside. This time too Bilal gave an impression of having come for sex, but later he along with Nadeem strangulated Shujath with a scarf. Later, they escaped from the scene.
Mailardevpally police arrested Bilal and Zubair after one year of the murdered on Monday and produced them before the court for judicial remand, according to Inspector S N Jaweed said. (INN)
