Two foreign students allegedly faced rape attempt on Sunday night hours at Hakeempet in the limits of Banjara Hills police station.
As per the complaint with the police, two Congolese students aged about 21 and 22 years residing in the Paramount Colony, near Tolichowki were being stalked by a person for the past few days. On the Sunday night, they were on their way back home, when we saw the person following them. He stopped them and tried to molest one of the women.
Upon hearing the screams, some men rushed to help them and the culprit escaped leaving his motorcycle. The women handed over to the police.
The Banjarahills police has been registered a case under Nirbhaya Act and began investigation. (INN)
