A 50-year-old farmer committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems.
According to Chengumul police, the deceased, A Tirupataiah of Chengumul of Ranga Reddy district, resorted to the extreme step on November 4 by consuming some unknown poison. He was admitted to Gandhi Hospital where he died on Thursday. He was unable to clear the agriculture loan due to loss of crop failure and consequently, he committed suicide.
In another case, M. Narayana, 50, who had consumed poison on October 9, died at the Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday night. He was an agriculturist and resident of SR Nagar in Ghatkesar police limits. Ill-health is suspected to have driven him to suicide. (INN)
