Sonepat, September 07: Two persons of a family were killed when a truck hit their motorcycle near Garh Meerakhpur village along the Haryana-Uttar Pradesh border, about 25 km from here, police said today.
The accident occurred last night when the victims, all residents of Garh Meerakhpur village in Sonepat district, were returning to their village on the motorcycle.
The speeding truck hit the motorbike killing two persons on the spot, they said. The deceased were identified as Arif (6) and his sister Nagma (4) and the injured as Mahboob and his wife Jamila, who were hospitalised.
