Noida, September 20: Two persons have been arrested today for allegedly making extortion calls to the top official of a chartered accountancy institute here, police said.
On September 13, joint director of Institute of Chartered Accountancy, S Z H Zaidi had lodged a complaint saying that he was receiving extortion calls.
Through electronic surveillance two extortionists Mukesh and Sanjay have been nabbed, they said.
The duo confessed to have made the extortion call and the mobile phone used by them was recovered, they said.
