Sudden firing between two doctors created panic in Himayath Nagar area in the heart of the city on Monday. On hearing bullet fire, locals ran helter skelter. Police reached the spot and shifted the injured doctors to Hyderguda Apollo Hospital.
According to the police, two doctors were directors in Glorial Hospital, Madhapur. They indulged in verbal duel during the directors’ meeting held at Madapur. The doctors fired at each other after the meeting. The police shifted both the doctors to the Apollo Hospital, Hyderguda. Police said one among the doctors had a pistol before joining the meeting.
Police said Dr Uday Kumar and Dr Shashi Kumar are directors of the Glorial Hospital. The verbal war took place between them regarding the transactions of the hospital. Later, they reached Raja Residency on Street No 6, Himayathnagar and fired at each other. (NSS)
