New Delhi, April 26: Two Delhi MLAs had to face the ire of people over water scarcity in their localities when they allegedly had heated arguments with them.
Locals protested water scarcity in south-east Delhi’s Sangam Vihar yesterday and even resorted to stone pelting.
Sangam Vihar MLA S C L Gupta faced the ire of people and some locals allegedly had a heated argument with him.
However, sources in the police said, no case was registered.
South-west Delhi’s Bijwasan also saw similar protest in which area MLA Satprakash Rana faced the ire of the people for water shortage in the locality.
He had gone to Bijwasan where locals protested water scarcity. They allegedly manhandled them.
Sources said no complaint was registered.
Gupta or Rana could not be reached for comments.
