A two-day workshop for Arabic teachers, with the intention of forming a better society by moulding ideal Muslim teachers, was held here on February 15.
Hidayah-Mesco Arabic Academy, a unit of Hidayah Foundation, Mangalore, organised the workshop which was inaugurated by Dr C P. Habeeb Rahman , chairman of Unity Health Complex.
Dr. Rahman, in his inaugural speech, explained the aims and objectives of the organisation in taking up various programmes for charitable purposes. The organisation aims at eradicating poverty by empowering women and educating children of the Muslim community.
Dr Mir Wajahath Ali and Dr Muhammed Ifthikaruddin from Mesco Arabic Language and English Education Foundation, Hyderabad were present at the function.
