The two-day meeting of TRS starts at Karimangar today, which would continue tomorrow also. Mr. K.Chandrasekhar Rao proceeded to Karimnagar yesterday. He would review the strategy of Telangana Agitation in the meeting. Party sources indicated that in the two-day meeting, agitation programme for getting separate Telangana State would be finalized.
In Karminagar, welcome arches and banners have been erected. All the roads have been decorated with TRS flags. Kareemnagar is looking like the citadel of TRS. Mr. Lakshman Rao, MLA told that the meeting will start at 2 p.m. in which Politburo members, MLA’s, Executive Members and senior leaders would participate.
Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao will give the details of his negotiations with the central leaders. In the wake of delay in taking a decision on Telangana issue, this meeting assumed extraordinary importance.
President of District TRS, Captain Lakshmikantha Rao and in charge of TRS of Karimanagar, Mr. Vinod Kumar, former M.P. are taking care of the arrangements of the two-day meeting of TRS in Karimanagar.
It is said that Mr. KCR is very much irritated on the dilly dallying attitude of the Central Govt. and it is likely that TRS would take a tough stand and an attempt would be made to exert pressure on the Central Govt. for the formation of separate Telangana State. He might also sound the bugle for initiating war against the Central Govt. to fulfill the promise made by the Govt. of India on 9th December 2009. It is reported that the issue of seeking cooperation of the other political parties may also come up for discussion in the meeting.
