Two teenaged girls at Bachupally were allegedly raped by two men. The girls were studying in Class VIII were taken to a desolate building on the night of January 30 by the two men . The crime took place when the school girls were returning home after visiting a shop. Mallesh, 24, and Sharvan, 25, was employed as house keeping staff in a private company.
According to Dundigal Inspector Ch Balakrishna “The victims are acquaintances of the accused people. We suspect that the accused lured the victims and took them to a house and sexually assaulted them”. The two men fled the spot after the crime and are absconding. After reaching home, both the girls did not reveal what had happened.
On the other hand, another girl in the locality had seen the two men taking the victims with them, and informed the parents later.
Child rights activists encourage the parents to file a complaint. “We have sent the victims for a medical examination. Police registered a case against the duo under IPC Section 376 for rape with the Criminal Amendment Act, 2013.
We started an Investigation,” said inspector Balakrishna. Child right activists enforced that the government constitute a body with representatives of the police, with concerned government departments and child right activists, to look into the snowball in crime against minor girls in the city.
