Gonda: Two children were killed and six huts gutted in a fire in Nakhare village here, police said today.
The fire which started due to an earthen lamp in one of the huts last night soon engulfed six hutments nearby, killing Ravi (6) and his sister Mohini (4), they said.
Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has extended an ex-gratia of Rs four lakhs to the victim’s family.
