New Delhi, March 23: Two people, involved in numerous cases of murder, extortion and robbery in Bihar, were arrested in Delhi where they had recently shifted to escape arrest, police said Wednesday.
Babloo Jha, 34, was wanted in 17 cases while his associate Kundan Mishra, 22, in three cases.
“We got information that the two had shifted to Delhi January and were residing in south Delhi. They were arrested on Tuesday,” a police officer said.
About 12 SIM cards, including one of Nepal, and four mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
“Jha started his criminal activities in 2001. He formed his gang in 2006 and started extorting the rich people of Sitamarhi in Bihar. But due to increasing threat of being arrested, they came to Delhi,” he added.
