The prestigious double bedroom housing for the poor will be completed in three months and delivered to the beneficiaries, Minister for Housing and Endowment A Indrakarn Reddy today said. He was inspecting the housing facility being completed in Mahabubnagar along with Health Minister Dr C lakshma Reddy, MLA Srinivas Goud and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion the minister expressed content at the housing facility for comprising all facilities. He said that the government plans to construct one lakh houses for the poor and will be completed without any delay. As of now, the construction of about 40,000 houses out of 70000 are completed he said. The housing minister said that the works will be completed at the earliest and will be ready for disposal in three months. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will participate in a program to handover the houses to the poor in the district he said. We have taken every to ensure that the housing for the poor have the best of the facilities like never before.
Lakshma Reddy said that the government is keen to complete the housing project in all districts. The housing scheme for the poor being offered free of cost for the poor to make a standard living as said by the chief minister, he said. He took exception to the previous congress government for deceiving people and looting public money in the name of Indiramma housing scheme. Though the previous governments neglected the poor the TRS Government is determined to provide the poor with best dwelling facility Lakshma Reddy vowed.
Srinivas Goud said that the housing facility in backward Palamur district is being completed on a war-footing. Soon KCR will hand over the houses to the poor the health minister added. (NSS)
