Kanpur, September 12: Two persons were arrested here for allegedly killing two drivers of a travel agency and fleeing with the cars, police said today. Narendra Singh Chauhan and Upendra Chandra were arrested by Special Operations Group and a car was recovered from them, Superintendent of Police O P Singh said.
Police recovered two country made pistols and some cartridges from them. “The duo booked two vehicles from a travel agency in Lucknow a few days back.
After drugging the drivers they fled with the cars. The body of one driver was recovered from Unnav district and that of the other from Kakori near Lucknow,” Singh said.
