Two arrested with fake Rs 200 notes in C’garh’s Jashpur

Raipur: Police in Chhattisgarhs Jashpur district seized fake Rs 200 notes, with a face value of Rs 68,000, and arrested two persons, police said today. Omkar Yadav and Suresh Srivas were arrested yesterday from Farsabahar area here when the two were trying to sell these notes, Jashpur Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur told PTI.

In order to catch the two, police sub-inspector Sunil Das went as a decoy customer, officials informed.
The two have told police that they got the notes from a person in Odisha. Officials said further investigations were underway.
