Yamuna Nagar, April18:Two ‘tantriks’ (self styled godman) were today arrested in connection with the murder of five members of a family, including two women in Jammu colony here.
SP Mitesh Jain told reporters that two persons Pankaj Jogi and Mukesh alias Guddu, both tantriks from Uttar Pardesh and residing in Shanti Colony for the last over two months, have been arrested.
They will be produced in the court for remand and recovery of weapons, tomorrow, he said.
Satpal (47), his wife Veena Rani (45), son Mukesh (25), daughter-in-law Suman (23) and another son Rinku (22) were murdered yesterday morning by sharp-edged weapons.
Satpal’s brother informed the police about the incident.
Police said that Veena Rani’s body was found in a store of the house and the remaining bodies were found in a room.
Satpal was running a marriage bureau, police said.
