Etah: Two persons were arrested for allegedly smuggling 25 kg cow meat in a cantor here in Kotwali Dehat area, police said today.
The two accused, Guddo, a resident of Etah, and Gulfam of Kasganj, were arrested yesterday from Aliganj road during an inspection, Station Officer Vinod Kumar said.
They were allegedly carrying 25 kg of cow meat, which is banned in the state, in the cantor from Bhargain for sale in Delhi, Kumar said.
