Munger (Bihar), March 14:Two persons were arrested for smuggling arms at Bariyarpur railway station in Bihar”s Munger district, the police said today. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a compartment of Gaya-Howrah Express late last night and arrested Santosh Singh and Shankar Singh.
Two guns and 20 live cartridges were recovered, they said. The duo, residents of Khalaspur village in Bhojpur district, were brought to Jamalpur Government Railway Police station for interrogation, police said.
