Two AP Government employees held for bribe

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today arrested a Tahsildar and a Village Revenue Officer (VRO) in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 10,000. B Rajendra Prasad and M Ramachandra, Tahsildar and VRO respectively, were caught last night when they accepted the bribe amount from a person for making entries in his pattadar pass book (a land document), an ACB release said here. After the bribe amount was recovered from the VRO, both of them, posted in Gangavaram Mandal, were arrested, it added.
