Two accused of Makkah Masjid bomb blast still absconding

Six years have passed after the bomb blast occurred in Historic Makkah Masjid but 2 key accused are still beyond the reach of National Investigation Agency (NIA). Hussaini Alam Police had registered a case on 18th May 2007 under FIR No. 100/2007 for Bomb Blast in Makkah Masjid and another case was also registered under FIR No. 107/2007 for the un exploded bomb.

Later these cases entrusted to NIA for further investigations. CBI during its investigation had arrested two accused persons Devender Gupta alias Boby and Lokesh Sharma alias Ajay Tiwari and handed them over into judicial custody. Later on a 6 April 2011 the investigations of these cases were entrusted to NIA. This agency arrested 4 accused persons namely: Naba Kumar alias Swami Aseemananad, Bharat Mohan Lal Rateshwar alias Bharat Bhai, Teja Ram Parmar and Rajendar Chowdhary and gave them in judicial custody after shifting them to Hyderabad.

NIA is still in search of another 2 key accused persons namely Ram Chandra Kalsangra alias Ramji and Sandeep Veer Dange. A reward of Rs. 10 Lakh has also been fixed on their heads but these accused persons are still beyond the reach of Investigating Agencies. They could not arrest them. Sources of NIA indicated that efforts are being made Ramji and Dange. A network of Intelligence has already been extended in the entire country. During the investigation NIA found that the real kingpin of Makkah Masjid Bomb Blast was RSS Pracharak Suinil Joshi who was assassinated by RSS activist in December 2007 in Madhya Pradesh. In addition to filing 3 chargesheets by CBI, NIA has also file a supplementary chargesheet in the court. These cases are pending in the court.
