New Delhi: On Tuesday night, post 8 pm, PM Modi sent the nation into a tizzy as he made a major announcement that Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 will not be recognised as legal tender from midnight.
“Currency notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 will be just paper with no value,” Modi said.
