Baghdad, March 16: Two separate bomb attacks have killed eight people and wounded 11 others in the Iraqi town of Mussayab, south of Baghdad.
The bombs, which exploded five minutes apart, were attached to two cars carrying passengers on the main street of Mussayab, about 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, Rueters reported.
In another attack in the northern city of Mosul, three people, including a police officer, were killed, according to DPA.
The police in Mosul announced that six militants have been arrested in the city in connection with the bombing.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks which come as votes from last week’s elections are still being tallied.
