Rohtak, April 08: Twelve clerical employees were hurt as a clash broke out between them and the private security guards at B D Sharma University of Health Sciences here today after one of the clerks was denied entry into its wards.
Condition of two of the injured admitted to the casualty ward of the university was stated to be critical while the rest were discharged after treatment.
The clash erupted this morning when a clerk Krishan Kumar was allegedly not allowed to enter the wards by a security man on duty during the restricted time for visiting the wards leading to a verbal duel followed by a brawl between them.
The security men allegedly used their batons on clerical staff causing multiple injuries to them.
The employees have lodged a police complaint against the security guards demanding registration of criminal cases against them.
