TV set attacked in Jubilee Hills for working on Sunday

Hyderabad: According to the Federation of TV, the production crew should be given a day off on Sundays. A group of people belonging to different organisations attacked a TV serial set shooting on Sunday.

The shooting of TV serial Rama Seetha was halted which was going on at Jubilee Hills on Sunday, when attackers named Rajendra Singh, Nagaraju, Vijay Yadav and Chakri attacked the set, damaging the equipment and mobile phones of the director Puli Vasu Srinivas.

A case has been lodged by the Jubilee Hills Police against the Federation of TV leaders for allegedly attacking the director, producers and halting the shooting.

According to the Police, the suspects attacked the set to halt the shooting. “The leaders came to know that shooting was going on at Sunday at Jubilee Hills. They went to the set and tried to stop the shooting by attacking director Puli Vasu Srinivas and co- director Jayakumar. The victims lodged a complaint alleging that they were assaulted and equipment damaged,” said SI B. Jagadeeswar, DC reported.
