A TV anchor taught a lesson to her husband, who had illegal relationship with another woman, by catching him red handed and beat him with the help of locals.
The incident took place at the ECIL on Monday morning. The TV anchor, along with members of women’s organizations attacked her husband alleging that he was in illegal relationship with another woman. According to the TV anchor, she got married 10 years ago and her husband was harassing her for additional dowry since several years. She said as he was not coming to the house for some time, she pulled him while knowing his live-in relationship with another woman and attacked him while catching red handed.
It is learnt that anchor’s name is Padmavathi and her husband’s name is Satheesh. They developed differences a few years ago and both were living separately for the last two years. In the process, Satheesh entered into illegal relationship with another woman. Padmavathi alleged that during marriage, her parents gave 30 tolas of gold as dowry but Satheesh was still harassing her for additional dowry and keeping her away. Padmavathi went to her husband’s second house, where he was living with another woman and beat him. However, Satheesh fled the place before police reached the spot. (NSS)
