Madhya Pradesh, August 05: A television actress and her parents on Wednesday were beaten up by her alleged boyfriend and his friends in Bhopal district in Madhya Pradesh.
Sehrish, who works in the television serial ‘Pratigya’, was beaten up by her alleged boyfriend Jahangir and his friends for rejecting his repeated advances.
Following the incident, Sehrish filed a police complaint against Jahangir and his friends. She told the media that even after she rejected Jahangir’s marriage proposal, he and his family members were harassing her and continously pressurising her for the marriage.
Meanwhile, Jahangir claimed that he was in a live-in relationship with the girl and earlier, even her family approved of the relationship.
He further asserted that Sehrish and her family members started avoiding him after she became a television actress.
He even blamed the girl of being involved in a Sex racket.
