TV Actor Nausheen Says She’s In A Relationship With Prashant

Mumbai, September 09: TV actress Nausheen Ali Sardar has admitted that she is in a relationship with Prashant Chainani, film-maker Nisha Chainani’s brother who has been an actor and a producer.

The report says, Nauseen pauses for a moment when asked to reveal the name of her boyfriend. But later, she answers, “Yes, I am in a relationship with Prashant Chainani . I don’t want to hide my relationship and why would I? Nobody wants to discusspublicly about his or her love life which is why I have not discussed about it so much,” she says.

So, is marriage on the cards? “Not right now for sure. Please don’t write that I am getting married. Prashant is in Dubai and we are close but I can’t think of marriage right now. There’s so much to do,” she adds.

Well, ‘so much to’ means that Nausheen is launching her own production house and no, the first soap that she will produce will not star her. “I don’t want to cast myself in my production. I would like to do it my own way and I am working the nitty-gritty out. I am also talking to a few production houses and let’s see, you might see me in a serial soon,” she says.

Does she miss working with Ekta Kapoor since it was rumoured that she had fallen out with her one-time mentor?

“I had issued a legal notice against the person who had actually started this rumour. Ekta thought that I had started this gossip. I called her up, explained the situations and told her that I never said anything about her anywhere. She was pacified but I am really sad about that episode and how it almost killed the beautiful relationship that I had with her. I am glad that it is back to where it was. But yes, it was a scary episode for me,” she says.

Nausheen admits that to make it as a Bollywood actor, “You need to be made of a different metal. Today, even one hit is not considered good enough to be a star. You need multiple hits to back you up as a star. To make it in Bollywood, you need to be made up of a different metal. I don’t think I would like to fit into that mould or I ever fitted there. I am happy to belong to the space where I was in,” she ends.
